Consider a few things....
1- For your section buttons, I would make them either flush left or flush right. Centered type is weak in this composition.

2- Line the button type up with the some aspect of your name/graphic design button on top

3- line the numbers/galleries up with the buttons. you lined them up on top but could you configure them so they work with the other button too? Maybe reduce their size? This may or may not work but ai would consider trying.

4- I like adding the photographic image, it adds some nice texture. should we maybe be ble to see what these things are, or could they be blurry and go into focus when you move your mouse over something.

5- I like the section buttons changing colors, perhaps your name could too?

keep going. this is getting more interesting.

I'm really liking these colors, fresh and fun! I agree with marius on the centered type, i think everything should be flush left.

I would like to see some play with the blurry images. Do the images relate to the links at all? Cuz if the image for graphic design is a gd project of yours, you could have the image show up blurry when you scroll over it and then when you click on the link it becomes clear. kind of like, graphic design is so vague and represents so many different styles and mediums from person to person. but once you click on the link, your individual style becomes clear and your projects will be revealed.

Are those numbered boxes going to be thumbnails? Or zoomed in areas of images? Make sure you have some kind of description before you can see the larger version so people know what they're clicking on.

Looking good!

kristy-
i like your colors and the way each page changes depending on the tab you choose on the left.
-are you going to do something with the blurred image, is the blurred image a later image in your sections? Im curious to see them clear somewhere else or turn clear.
Also the numbers are looking a bit phone pad, I think it would also be helpful to move them to a side as Marius suggests.
Looks good though.

I love how you have the menu colors corresponding with the square/number part in the middle. And I like the blocks in the middle but for some reason feel it's too blocky when you have the menu part in rectangles as well. Maybe if there's another way to incorporate the squares that isn't quite as obvious.
